This policy explains what information Barbexus ("we," "us," or "I") collects when you visit barbexus.com or work with us, how it gets used, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell it, and you can ask about it anytime.
Information We Collect
- Information you give us. If you email us, book a call through our scheduling link, or fill out a form, we receive what you share: typically your name, email address, phone number, business name, and anything you write in a message.
- Booking information. Call scheduling is handled by Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email, and selected time under its own privacy policy.
- Basic usage data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools may record standard technical data such as pages visited, approximate location by region, browser type, and referring site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
How We Use It
- To respond when you contact us and to prepare for scheduled calls.
- To scope, build, and deliver website projects you hire us for.
- To understand how the site performs so we can improve it.
- To send project-related communication. We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
What We Never Do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never share your information with third parties for their marketing.
- We never use client project materials or credentials for anything beyond your project.
Cookies and Analytics
This site may use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and understand which sections people read. It does not use advertising trackers. Third-party services embedded on the site, such as Calendly or Google Fonts, may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Service Providers
We rely on a small number of reputable providers to operate: website hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare), scheduling (Calendly), and email. Each processes only the data needed to perform its function.
Data Retention
Emails and project files are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet ordinary business and legal record keeping. If you want something deleted, ask and we will delete it unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your Rights
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to deletion. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. Material changes will be noted plainly at the top.
